A place at the table for imagination
I suppose I have always been a dreamer. A walk beside a creek can become the beginning of a story. A bird among the branches can suggest a character. An old floral pattern can open a door to another time.
Sages Kitchen is where those small journeys find a place in everyday life: on the table, beside the kettle, or around a cup of morning coffee.
Every product tells a story
Part of Sages Of The Past, this collection brings together my love of nature, history, folklore, and making. Here, that imagination takes the shape of kitchen and dining decor: flowers winding across a table runner, woodland creatures on a favorite mug, a moonlit garden waiting at a place setting.
Many designs have a short story or poem of their own. Sometimes the words come first and inspire the artwork. Sometimes an image arrives before I know the story it wants to tell. I want to give both a home here, so you can spend a little time with the world behind a design as you choose something for your own.
A note from the maker
I have spent much of my life making things: writing stories and poetry, drawing, working with wood, and building software. Curiosity connects them all. I enjoy following an idea from its first unlikely spark to something I can share.
My hope for Sages Kitchen is simple: that you find something here you feel a connection to. Perhaps it reminds you of a garden you loved, a tale you heard as a child, or a place you would like to wander.
There is room for those things at the table, too.
