The story behind the design
Blossom & Pond

Once, under the serene glow of a full moon, soared an elegant crane named Sora. She was a symbol of grace and freedom, gliding effortlessly through the night sky. The people of the village below held Sora in high regard, believing that her presence brought peace and tranquility to their lives. Each evening, as the moon began its watch over the world, they would gather by the fields to witness Sora’s majestic flight.
One particularly crisp night, Sora found herself drawn to a grove of blooming cherry blossoms. The delicate pink flowers, bathed in moonlight, created a scene of ethereal beauty. Sora felt a deep connection to this place, sensing that it held a special kind of magic. She adapted her flight to circle above the blossoms, her white feathers glistening in the silvery light.
Below, a young artist named Aiko watched in awe. She had always been enchanted by the night sky and the mysterious crane that danced among the stars. Determined to capture this moment of wonder and serenity, Aiko began to sketch the scene, her fingers moving swiftly and gracefully. As she drew, it felt as if the moonlight flowed through her, infusing her art with the same magic that surrounded Sora.
Aiko’s sketch quickly turned into a masterpiece, a beautiful tapestry of the crane, the moon, and the cherry blossoms intertwined in perfect harmony. She decided to immortalize this piece by spreading its enchantment beyond the canvas. Thus, she collaborated with a skilled artisan, transferring her artwork onto smooth, black ceramic mugs. Each mug bore the image of Sora’s enchanting flight, a symbol of peace, grace, and the quiet strength found in nature.
These mugs soon became cherished items among the villagers. Every sip from them seemed to carry the tranquility of the moonlit night and the gentle elegance of Sora’s flight. For those who owned a mug, it was more than just a vessel for their favorite drink; it was a daily reminder of beauty, grace, and the quiet power of moments that connect us to nature.
Each morning as villagers held their mugs, they felt a sense of calm and inspiration, as if Sora herself was guiding them through the dance of life. And so, in homes across the land, Aiko’s creation brought a touch of moonlit magic to every dawn, a gentle reminder to find grace and beauty in the simplest moments.
