The story behind the design
Woodland Cottage

In a quiet village bordered by dense, mysterious woods, an elderly clockmaker lived a peaceful life. Every night, his workshop window glowed softly as he crafted intricate gears and delicate hands. One chilly autumn evening, he was interrupted by a whispering wind and the sudden appearance of a regal owl, perched on his workshop's windowsill.
This owl, with its eyes like glowing embers, seemed to carry an ancient wisdom in its gaze. The clockmaker, intrigued, opened the window and allowed the owl inside. As the night grew deeper, the owl never moved, yet its presence filled the room with a sense of silent understanding. The clockmaker, inspired by this quiet guest, decided to craft a special timepiece, one that would capture the essence of the owl’s watchful stillness.
Hour after hour, the clockmaker worked, his hands moving deftly under the owl’s steady watch. He fashioned the clock face to resemble the owl's piercing eyes and used silver filigree to mimic its gleaming feathers. The centerpiece was a small pendulum shaped like a small owl, designed to swing with grace and precision. The old man felt a deeper connection to time itself, inspired by the owl’s serene vigil.
By dawn, the clock was complete. The clockmaker hung it in place of honor, where it caught the first light of the morning sun. As he observed his creation, he noticed a change in the room's atmosphere – a sense of calm had taken root, the same calm that the owl had carried with it.
The owl blinked slowly, almost approvingly, and then, as mysteriously as it had arrived, it flew back into the woods, leaving the workshop bathed in a golden morning glow. The clockmaker, now infused with new inspiration, realized the true gift the owl had given him was not just a beautiful timepiece, but a deeper appreciation for the quiet, patient moments that held the fabric of life together.
